About UsSaoirse (pronounced Seer-sha) is Irish for freedom. The Saoirse name reflects both our Irish heritage and our goal of bringing our culinary-savvy customers the freedom to choose from a wide array of foods and services. At Saoirse Gourmet, we work hard to bring the freshest and highest quality food products to you and your family. Whether your purchase is for everyday use, an elegant dinner party, a special get-together or a well-deserved self-indulgence, you'll appreciate the quality that goes into every dish, dessert and confection we make. The Saoirse difference: It isn't hard to distinguish ours from theirs. Most Saoirse Gourmet entrees are delivered in Corningware or Pyrex. We go the extra mile because your food should taste exactly the way it was intended-- not like cheap plastic or tin foil containers. As for ingredients, we believe flour should be wholesome not bleached. Our fresh, local eggs come from chickens that roam-- not get cooped-up. Our milk comes fresh in glass bottles from Lancaster County Amish dairy farms where cows eat grass and grain-- not chemicals and hormones. With Saoirse Gourmet, you will see and taste the difference. Culinary convenience for the busy professional: We deliver free of charge to our valued customers in and around the Bethel, Boothwyn, Chadds Ford, Concordville, Swarthmore, Thornton and Wallingford areas. In Delaware, we deliver to Claymont and Greenville. Free local delivery is offered on all orders totalling $60.00 or more. There is an $8.00 delivery fee on smaller orders. We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover card through Google Checkout. Simply call to place your order. We will invoice you via email.
